Police say a man and woman are were arrested after they burglarized a home near 41st and Mingo early Tuesday.
Officers also recovered a mobile meth lab found in a backpack nearby.
Officers were dispatched to the unoccupied home at around 4 a.m. When they arrived police spotted Robert Johnson, 32, and Lamanda Riner, 25, running from the back of the home. Police caught up with them and took both into custody. Officers also recovered some items believed taken in the burglary.
"We found some loot just outside the yard we were able to recover it. We were able to piece together that it did come from the residence," according to TPD Sgt. J.S. Noland.
Investigators determined the contents of the backpack contained items associated with a portable meth lab.
Johnson and Riner are being held on several complaints including manufacturing a drug, burglary, having stolen property and resisting arrest.
