Tulsa Man Facing Murder Charge Pleads Guilty To Manslaughter

A Tulsa man facing a murder trial pleaded guilty to a lesser charge Friday.

Police said Adrian Ayub and his brother, Brian, were involved in a string of robberies last year that ended when the teens tried to ram police with their car and an officer fired into the car.

A bullet hit an 18-year-old girl and killed her.

Since the teens were in the act of committing a crime, they were charged with murder.

Friday, Adrian Ayub pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter and robbery. His trial was set to start Monday.

Adrian’s brother already pleaded guilty to robbery and is serving 30 years.
