Talala Mother Accused Of Leaving 1-Year-Old In Car To Be Arraigned

A Talala mother accused of leaving her 1-year-old daughter in a van while she shopped at Walmart waived her right to a preliminary hearing.

A judge ordered Hannah Secondi back to court later this month for her arraignment.

She told police she forgot her daughter was in the car when she went into the Owasso Walmart in July.

About 45 minutes later a couple heard the child and got her out.

The arresting officer said he made contact with Secondi as she was walking out of Walmart. He said she frantically asked if her child was dead.

Medics said the internal temperature of the child was over 100 degrees when they took the child to the hospital.
