Public Service of Oklahoma reports that almost 9,000 customers were temporarily without power after a fire at a substation. The fire took place around 12:30 p.m. at the 101st and Elm substation.

Power was restored shortly after 1:30 p.m.

PSO representatives said the fire was in their number one transformer and affected their number two transformer. They were able to reroute and get service back to customers.

They're still investigating the cause of the fire.
