Tulsa M.e.t. Hires New Executive Director

The Metropolitan Environmental Trust - or The M.e.t. - has hired a new executive director. Graham Brannin will lead the waste management trust authority, replacing long-time executive director Michael Patton.

Brannin is a native Tulsan who comes to the job from the City of Tulsa. He's been in the business of protecting the environment since 1996, according to a news release from The M.e.t.

“Our search committee received many competitive applicants, but Graham Brannin’s passion and commitment to this organization was clear throughout the process,” said Michael Willis, Chair of The M.e.t. Board of Trustees. 

“The Board of Trustees approved Brannin’s selection unanimously and looks forward to his service to The M.e.t.” 

The M.e.t. operates several recycling centers around Tulsa and holds recycling events throughout the year. The next will be the fall household pollutant collection event November 7 and 8. 

Patton accepted a position with Land Legacy earlier this year.
