A Jenks man pleaded guilty to child pornography following an investigation by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. OSBI agents say Robert William Welch admitted to downloading more than 100 files of child pornography.

The 33-year-old man entered a blind plea on three counts of felony possession and distribution of child porn. He is expected to be sentenced in November.

Court documents show earlier this year, an OSBI agent with the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit investigated a network known for the sharing of child pornography. That led him to a Jenks IP address associated with Welch's residence on South Date Street.

The agent and officers with Tulsa and Jenks police departments questioned Welch and examined his computer, finding images of child pornography that had been deleted.  Welch admitted to downloading the child pornography, photos and videos showing children under the age of 10 engaging with adults in sexual activities, according to court documents.

Welch, who was booked into jail Monday, is being held without bond.
