The state of Oklahoma from Interstate 44 north to the Kansas state line saw bouts of severe weather Friday evening as thunderstorms advanced through the state.
The main threat was lightning, hail, heavy rain and wind gusts of up to 70 mph.
The weather moving in forced several Friday night football games be on a weather delay.
Many of the games pushed back kickoffs to 8 p.m. or later. The Broken Arrow, Union game decided to cancel for Friday and will play Saturday at 7:30 p.m. instead.
The Jenks, Owasso game also canceled Friday, and school officials said no makeup game will be scheduled.
Hale and Edison and Lawton and Sapulpa also canceled Friday.
