A Jenks Public Schools principal made his professional NFL debut on Monday Night Football this week.
Assistant High School Principal Clay Martin officiated his first regular NFL game Monday in San Francisco, where the 49ers trounced the Minnesota Vikings 20 to 3. Martin worked as an umpire and wore number 19.
NFL officiating is only a part-time job for Martin. He is still a full-time assistant principal at Jenks High School.
News On 6 sports anchor Harold Kuntz interviewed Martin in April.
