A Pawnee man was killed Friday afternoon when the vehicle he was in rolled over on U.S. 64.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, just before 2:00 Friday afternoon, a Mitsubishi Gallant, driven by 51-year-old Vicki Willis, was headed east on U.S. 64 when it crossed the center line and left the road.
The report says the vehicle hit the end of the guardrail and continued on top of it before going down an embankment.
OHP said the vehicle rolled an unknown number of times before stopping on its top, partially submerged in a creek.
Willis and two passengers, 83-year-old John Green and a 9-year-old female were in the vehicle.
OHP said Willis was flown to Saint Francis and is in critical condition with head, arm and trunk injuries. Green was taken to the Stillwater Medical center and pronounced dead.
The 9-year-old girl was also taken to Stillwater Medical. OHP said she was treated and released for a leg injury.
OHP said the crash is under investigation, but according to the report, neither Willis nor Green were wearing a seatbelt.
