A man is now in jail after running from police overnight Sunday. Just before 2:30 a.m., Tulsa Police say they saw a man recklessly driving a pickup truck on Admiral Place near Pittsburg.

An officer tried to stop the driver, but he kept going.

The pursuit went eastbound on Admiral for about a mile and a half until the driver pulled into the Church's Chicken near Sheridan.

Officers arrested Justin Noonkester for suspicion of DUI, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, no driver's license, no insurance and possession of marijuana. An arrest report states Noonkester admitted to having three beers but was unable to complete field sobriety testing because he couldn't stand up straight or follow instructions.

At jail, the 22-year-old man reportedly asked the arresting officer if he'd been pulled over and didn't know where he was, the report states.
