Henryetta Teen Charged With 7 Counts Of Stealing Livestock

A Henryetta man accused of stealing seven calves from an Okfuskee County rancher surrendered to authorities Wednesday.

A Henryetta man accused of stealing seven calves from an Okfuskee County rancher surrendered to authorities Wednesday.

According to Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association special ranger, Bart Perrier, 19-year-old Devin Alex Longan and Kiley Johnson stole seven calves and took them to be sold at the Okmulgee Livestock Auction.

He said Longan and Johnson returned to the stockyards the next day and divided the profits between them.

A news releases says Longan has been formally charged in the case and is being held in the Okfuskee County jail on a $100,000 bond.

Johnson turned himself into authorities in July in connection with the theft of 17 calves and 13 cows in Okmulgee County.

Johnson was arrested on warrants charging him with eight counts of Larceny of livestock and booked into the Okmulgee County Jail.
Records show he’s being held on a $200,000 bond.
