The family of a Tulsa man who drowned in Fort Gibson Lake is holding a memorial in his honor.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said 45-year-old Shawn Walton drowned after he jumped off the front of a pontoon boat in the lake on July 25.
Troopers said the boat was tied up at Spring Creek when he jumped in and never resurfaced. His body was recovered later that same night.
