Dump Truck, Car Collide Near Owasso

Troopers say a dump truck hit a passenger car that failed to yield near Owasso. One person has been taken to the hospital.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating an injury wreck at 66th Street North and 145th East Avenue (N4040 Road). That's just southeast of Owasso.

Troopers say a woman driving a Honda was turning onto 66th Street North from 145th and failed to yield at the turn. A dump truck hit the driver's side of her vehicle.

She was taken to an Owasso hospital in unknown condition.

The dump truck driver wasn't hurt.
