Tulsa Police are investigating reports that nightclub security shot a least four people early Saturday morning.
Police said they responded to 6268 East Marshall Place around 4:30 a.m. in reference to a shooting victim. When they arrived they said they found one person shot in the chest.
During their investigation, police discovered the shooting took place at a nightclub located at 1826 North Kingston.
According to police, after the shooting the victims left the scene and ended up at different locations.
The first victim was discovered near Kingston and Marshall, several blocks south of the nightclub. A few minutes later police got a call about two more victims at 33rd and South Garnett, then said a fourth victim was transported to a Tulsa hospital.
Officer said they contacted 20-plus witnesses including three armed security guards. Police said they found three handguns and multiple shell casings near the building.
Police believe an altercation started inside the building where an after-hours party was taking place. They said at least one shot was fired inside the club, which moved the crowd outside.
Security then followed the shooter outside where several shots were exchanged, police say.
Police said one person is in critical condition, but the conditions of the other three are unknown at this time.
Officer said they are still investigating and collecting evidence.
