Police Search For North Tulsa Dollar General Armed Robber

Tulsa police are searching for an armed man who robbed a Dollar General Store on Wednesday morning.

Police responded to 19th and North Harvard after 9 a.m. after a man walked inside and pointed an automatic handgun and demanded money from employees.

According to witness, suspect ran north through the field in the back of the store.

During a search, a K-9 officer tracked the man to the area of 19th and Gary.

A witness who lives in the apartment complex in the area said the man possibly left in an older (beat up) white truck, maybe a Chevrolet, with a missing door handle on the driver side.

Driver was a younger 25-30 year old bald white male wearing a white shirt.

The armed robber is described as a black male, between 25-30 years old, about 5-foot-7 and 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and had black leg stocking or pantyhose covering his face.

Police ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
