Tulsa Man Shot In Head By Robbers, Police Say

Police said a man is recovering after being shot during a robbery attempt early Tuesday outside an east Tulsa apartment complex.

Officers said the victim told them he was in the parking lot of the Creekside Apartments near 41st and Garnett at about 1 a.m. when two men approached him and demanded money. During a scuffle the victim was shot in the head. 

They said the victim got into his car and drove off. 

Police caught up with the victim a few blocks away and EMSA took him to the hospital.  Police said he is expected to survive.
