A man heard a loud bang and found a vehicle crashed into the side of his home. It happened around 10:15 Thursday night in the 2600 block of North 41st West Avenue.

The vehicle did some extensive damage, and the driver was badly hurt.

The driver crashed through a man's fence, traveling through the front yard. The vehicle then slammed into a garage and wall.

Police say it all started when the driver lost control while going west on Apache where it curves into northbound 41st West Avenue.

The driver rolled his vehicle several times before crashing into the house.

The wreck took out part of the homeowner's fence, and the impact to the house left a dent in the man's garage and crumbled some of his brick structure.

The driver was trapped in the vehicle for a while. Tulsa firefighters had to pry open the door to get him out.

The driver is now in the hospital in critical condition. It's not clear yet why he lost control.

The homeowner was not injured.
