Investigators Respond To Fatal Okmulgee County Trooper-Involved Shooting

Investigators are on the scene of a fatal trooper-involved shooting in Okmulgee County.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the shooting took place late Friday evening near 221st Street and Memorial near Liberty Mounds.

News On 6 has confirmed that at least one person was killed during the shooting. We're told it was not the trooper.

Investigators are having to move quickly with their investigation due to high flood waters are near the scene.
