Police responded to an armed robbery call Tuesday morning at a convenience store in midtown Tulsa.

Officers say the man had a handgun when he entered the KWIK Stop at 4th and Yale just before 8 a.m. and demanded money.

Police said after getting some cash, the man ran out of the store to the west.

He's described as a black male in his early 20s, 5'04" to 5'05", weighing around 150 pounds and wearing a black mask, dark blue hoodie and brown pants.

As police arrived, an anonymous caller said a man matching the robber's description was running a few blocks away. Officers set up a perimeter, but were unable to locate the man.

Police said the clerk was not injured.
