Osage Officer Involved In Fatal Wreck Fired

An Osage Nation Police officer involved in a deadly crash on May 1, 2015, has been fired. According to the Tulsa Police department report, Cory Stewart was off duty, but driving his police vehicle when he hit and killed Shawn Watashe on East Admiral Place.

The report indicates Stewart left, but came back five to 10 minutes later and told the investigating officers he was the driver that had hit Watashe.
