Lightning Strikes Damage Owasso Home, Tulsa Apartment

Lightning caused a fire at a south Tulsa apartment complex as a line of dangerous thunderstorms moved through Sunday. Tulsa Fire Department confirms that one of the buildings at the Country Hollow Apartments at 4612 East 80th Street caught fire after the strike.

The fire damage appeared to be limited to the roof of one building.

No one was injured in the lightning strike or fire, authorities say.

Lightning struck a two-story home near 15100 East Avenue and 76th Street North in Owasso around 10:30 a.m., Owassoisms reports.
