Tulsa Kmart To Close Mid-July; Liquidation Sales Start In May

Kmart confirmed today it's closing the store near 51st and Harvard in Tulsa.

The store begins a liquidation sale on May 17, and the doors will close for good in mid-July.

There are 51 employees -- mostly part-time -- who work at the store.

Kmart said it is offering severance and the opportunity to apply for open positions at other Sears or K-mart stores in the area.
