Masked Men With Machetes Frighten Away Tulsa Bank Customer

Police said a man decided not make a night deposit at a south Tulsa bank Wednesday night after seeing two masked men carrying machetes walking nearby.

Police said a man decided not make a night deposit at a south Tulsa bank Wednesday night after seeing two masked men carrying machetes walking nearby.

Officers said it happened at the American Heritage Bank west of Tulsa Hills on 71st Street South at Union at about 10:30 p.m. 

The customer told officers he was about make a deposit, but after seeing the two men, he got back in his car and left, then called police. 

Police said officers searched the area but could not find the pair.
