Man Shot In North Tulsa Argument, Police Say

A man in his 20s has been hospitalized after being shot in the arm and back in north Tulsa and police are searching for answers.

Tulsa police said the shooting took place at the Mohawk Manor Apartments, located in the 3600 block of North Birmingham Avenue, about 6 p.m.

There were several people outside at the time, but officers said they all claim to have not seen anything.

TPD Sgt. CW Roberts said the incident may have started as an argument outside, then the victim tried to run off and was shot. The victim ran to the apartment of a woman who called police.

Roberts said the man's condition is unknown.

Police still are investigating.
