Tulsa Police Arrest Man For First-Degree Murder In Sports Bar Shooting

Tulsa police have arrested a man wanted for first-degree murder.

Officers said John Waldon is one of the men who opened fire at Obsessions sports bar last week near Peoria and the Gilcrease Expressway.

Antuan Turner was killed in that shooting. Witnesses told police several altercations took place in the parking lot before Turner was shot, though their descriptions varied somewhat, according to an arrest report. Accounts did agree that some of the people involved in the fights were members of the "Blood" gang.

Police say Waldon is a convicted felon who is prohibited from carrying a firearm, and he was also booked on that complaint.

Willie Carl Stanley was arrested on April 1. Police are looking for a least two other gunmen.
