Bartlesville Police: Missing Dewey Man's Body Recovered Near Caney River

The Bartlesville Police Department says the body of a man discovered Tuesday morning on land along the Caney River in town has been sent to the state Medical Examiner's Office.

Police Captain Jay Hastings says the family of Bryan Lowery, 53, of Dewey found the body Tuesday morning south of Frank Phillips Boulevard.

Lowery was reported missing February 8, 2015. At the time, his family said Lowery was headed to visit a friend on the west side of Bartlesville but never arrived.

Hastings says it doesn't appear to be any foul play involved, but they are waiting on the results of an autopsy to be sure.
