The winter weather didn't stop the Muttnation Foundation from trying to get a number of dogs adopted.

The parking lots outside of the BOK Center were plowed for the thousands of fans set to head to the Miranda Lambert concert. Because of that, Lambert's Muttnation Foundation had to move everything inside the venue.

For $100 you could adopt a spayed or neutered puppy, fully microchiped and ready for its forever home.

At first, Miranda's mom, Beverly, figured the entire event would have to be cancelled. "My first thought was, ‘no dogs are being rescued today,' and it was crushing, very sad," said Beverly. “I did the ugly mom cry face, and Miranda was like, ‘that's her happy… that is her happy cry.'"

All the money raised goes directly towards the Muttnation Foundation.
