A local tire shop owner was arrested after $75,000 worth of tires was stolen around town.
Police said they believe the shop owner conspired with another man to steal the tires over several months.
Police said they set a trap for thieves at an Enterprise Rental company back in December. Since then they said they've uncovered a conspiracy to steal tires all over town.
David's Custom Wheel and tire in east Tulsa was still going about business as usual just hours after the operator was arrested.

Police arrested Barnette after he was caught stealing tires from a bait car at an Enterprise Rental car company off of 51st.

It's a crime, Mark Williams, who works just down the street from David's, said is getting worse in the area.
"It's getting bad everywhere, from the trailer theft to the tire theft. You know it's really bad for the economy and the community," he said.
So far investigators say they believe the two might be responsible for more than $75,000 in thefts over several months back in 2014.
Something Williams said he can't believe.
"I know a few people that have been there and got tires there from them and that was a year or so ago but maybe it's been going on a long time it sounds like," he said.
Both are being charged with conspiracy to commit a felony.
Jones bonded out of jail Friday afternoon. Police said Barnette is out of jail but has an outstanding felony warrant.
