Jennings Public Schools closed its doors early due to water issues that are plaguing the rural town.

According to reports, the school let out early, around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday because the city suffered a water main break.

The kindergarten through 8th grade school district also canceled classes for Thursday.

The whole town is without water until the issue is fixed, officials said.
