Toddler Found Wandering Outside West Tulsa Apartment Complex

Police are investigating how a two-year-old boy wearing only a diaper managed to get outside on his own at a west Tulsa apartment complex Tuesday morning 

A resident of Parkview Terrace Apartments on 61st Street just west of Highway 75 found the boy just before 8 a.m. and called police.

Police say the child was cold but otherwise OK. 

The resident took the toddler to the manager's office. A short time later, a police officer and the apartment manager took the child which was now wearing pajamas back to his apartment. 

The child's babysitter told officers the mother had left just a few minutes earlier. Police contacted the mother as well as the Department of Human Services.
