Tulsa Transit announced a new program Tuesday for military members: 50 percent off with a special city bus ID card.

Tulsa Transit announced a new program Tuesday for military members.

It will soon offer discounted fares on fixed route and nightline buses for all active duty military personnel and veterans.

All you have to do is show a Tulsa Transit Military Reduced Fare Photo ID card, and you'll get a 50 percent discount off regular fares. They have several locations open through February 12, 2015, where military personnel can get the cards for free.

They already offer reduced fares for seniors (62 and older) and persons with disabilities. 

Beginning Monday, February 16, 2015, photo ID cards will be available at the Denver Avenue Station, 319 South Denver Avenue, for $1
