Website Ranks Top Elementary Schools In Oklahoma

A website has ranked the best public elementary schools in Oklahoma and several Tulsa area schools are at the top of the list.

According to the study from the Niche, Southeast Elementary and West Elementary schools both in Jenks came in first and second.

A number of schools from Tulsa, Union and Owasso were also ranked high on Niche's list.

Niche analyzed more than 40,000 elementary schools across the state, looking at each school's curriculum, teacher qualifications, health and safety statistics and a number of other factors.

Information used in Niche's report came from the U.S. Department of Education.

They also surveyed close to 5-million students, recent alumni and parents for their thoughts about the school they or their child attended. The results were calculated and posted online.
