A 17-year-old girl said she didn't think she was going to survive after being beaten and tied up.

Eva Bradfield said she was held hostage, beaten and threatened with burning. Her 16-year-old ex-boyfriend is now behind bars for the terrifying situation.

"He said I'm going to hold you hostage and if you try and call the cops, then I'm going to kill you," Bradfield said.

Her ex-boyfriend, Kevin Holt, is being held at the Tulsa County Jail on a number of charges, including kidnapping, arson, as well as assault and battery.

Bradfield told police she was beaten and threatened after she broke up with her 16-year-old boyfriend, Holt.

"He dragged me to his car and beat my head into the cement," she said.

According to the arrest report, Bradfield was taken against her will from her home to an east Tulsa house where she said the violence kept escalating.

"He kept beating me and beating me,” she said. “That's when he tied me up in the bed and was going to light me on fire."

Bradfield said he took her clothes off, threw them in a trash can then lit it on fire.

She was eventually able to call her mom, Jennifer Wynn, on her cell phone.

"She was crying on the phone and I told her, ‘Call 911, call the cops,'" Wynn said.

Bradfield called 911, but wasn't sure if they would get there in time.

"I was like, ‘God, tell my family I love them and I'm going to a happier place. Tell them I love you and I will see them up there,'" Bradfield said.

According to the arrest report, Holt put a chair against the front door to barricade them inside. Eventually Holt's mom opened the door so police didn't have to break it down.

Bradfield said when she saw an officer walk through the door she finally knew she was safe.

"I knew I was getting help and was finally going to be gone. I ran to one of the cops and hugged him and said ‘Please get me out of here,'" Bradfield said.

Her mom said she just recently gave her daughter a phone and was very thankful she had it with her.

"If she didn't have that cell phone, they probably would have found her dead," said Wynn.

Bradfield said Holt had been violent with her one time before, but nothing like this.

Officers said he had multiple warrants out for his arrest.
