A water main break Monday morning shut down traffic on Pine at Sheridan. The break sent water shooting high into the air and damaged a Phillips 66 gas station.

The break is one of several being worked by the City of Tulsa water department Monday morning.

According to the Water Department's website, workers are repairing a number of breaks across the city including the break of a six-inch line in the 11900 block of East 1st Street.  The city says it has left 40 homes without water.

Another six-inch water line break in the 1600 block of East 31st Street has left 14 homes without water.

And yet another break in the 1000 block of North Irvington involves a six-inch broken water line.
