The Tulsa Fire Department says seven people were displaced by a fire in an apartment building Tuesday night.
Firefighters got the call at about 10:45 p.m. to the apartments near West 61st Street and South Union. They arrived to find smoke and flames coming from one apartment.
Tulsa Fire District Fire Chief Dale Cooley said there were four adults and three children impacted by the fire. EMSA took one adult to the hospital but didn't say what type of injury the person had.
Cooley said the fire spread from one apartment into the attic. An apartment next door suffered smoke damage.
He said there had been some sort of disturbance outside prior to the fire and investigators are now trying to determine if that played a part in the cause.
