A website finds Oklahoma has some of the worst drivers in the U.S.
CarInsuranceComparison.com, a resource for people to compare features of various automobile insurance companies, ranked states based on a scoring system and Oklahoma came in at #9 with a score of 88.
Two states, Montana and South Carolina came in at #1 with a score of 60 each. They were followed by Texas, North Dakota, Louisiana, Nevada and Hawaii. Missouri was ranked #10 behind Oklahoma with a score of 94.
The website ranked states based on a scoring system with information from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration which included the fatality rate per 100 million vehicle miles traveled, percentage of fatal crashes that involved failure to obey certain traffic laws, fatal drunken driving crashes, speeding crashes and careless driving collisions
