Jenks, Bixby, and Wagoner all brought home gold balls last night. The Skiatook Bulldogs tried to do it tonight.

It's been 40 years since a gold ball has gone home to Skiatook. Only Lawton MacArthur stood in the way Saturday night.

The Bulldogs tried to defeat the Highlanders at Yukon High School. Fans made the trip to the west side of the state, but they didn't have much to cheer for. Lorenzo West caught a touchdown pass to advance the Highlanders' lead 8-0 in the first.

Then, Davon Finkley took the ball up the gut for a 2-yard touchdown, making it 18-0. Skiatook coach Vance Miller was quite frustrated with the game, and it only got worse. Will Collins connected with Jacques Henderson for a 77-yard touchdown pass, advancing the Highlanders' lead 25-0.

Skiatook would finally get on the board when Cameron Hudson hit Jaren Knight with a 34-yard touchdown pass that made it a 39-6 ball game.

Lawton Mac went on to win 39-12.
