The City of Tulsa says the case is closed in an ethics investigation against mayor Dewey Bartlett.
The city auditor said the investigation came after someone called a hotline questioning the mayor's decision against a sidewalk planned as part of The Gathering Place construction.
We reported Bartlett's decision coincided with a meeting of Maple Ridge homeowners concerned about the sidewalk - one of them a landlord of the mayor's oil company office.

The complaint questioned if Bartlett's decision was influenced by any personal or financial interest, and the mayor stated it did not.
Bartlett told the city auditor he made his decision based on public safety, and as of Friday, the city found no wrongdoing against him and closed the investigation.
