Rogers County Judge Says No Bond For Repeat Sex Offender

A Rogers County judge decides to hold a sex offender in jail without bond. I told you several months ago about the arrest of Jimmy Weeks.

He's a convicted sex offender accused of hanging out too close to a daycare.

His attorneys asked the judge to set bond, but, the judge said, because Weeks had four convictions for sexual crimes against children in the past 26 years, had been convicted before of living too close to the same daycare and had ignored law enforcement's warnings not to go back there, the judge decided no type of bond would keep the community safe.

Weeks' next court date is December 1, 2014.
