Tulsa Police: Aggressive Driver Plows Into Small Building

A driver plowed into a building outside some Tulsa apartments early Sunday morning. It happened in front of The Greens of Bedford Apartment Complex in the 6500 block of South 107th East Avenue at about 3:30 a.m.

Tulsa police say the man was trying to pass another vehicle at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his car. The car jumped the curb, knocked over a brick pillar and crashed into a small building. 

The driver was taken to the hospital with head and possible neck injuries.

Authorities said aggressive driving was the main cause of the crash, though they also said the driver reported having a few drinks earlier in the evening.
