The University of Tulsa's backup quarterback, Jabe Burgess, was arrested Monday, November 10, at 7:57 p.m.
According to the Tulsa County Jail, Burgess was booked on second degree burglary charges, and was released on $5,000 bail at 10:50 p.m. that same night.
Following his arrest, Burgess has been suspended indefinitely from all team activities. After wrapping spring drills, Burgess was next on the QB scope behind starter Dane Evans. He completed five of eight passes for 64 yards and two touchdowns in the spring game.
Burgess was a three-year letter winner, and two-year starter, at Greenwood High School. Coming out of high school he was a fourth-rated quarterback in the state of Arkansas.
As far as the arrest, no further details are known at this time.
