Temperatures across northeastern Oklahoma are expected to plummet below freezing late Friday. The National Weather Service issued a freeze warning that will take effect late Friday and run through Saturday morning.

News On 6's WARN team says a cold front entered Oklahoma late Thursday and temperatures are expected to drop into the mid-20's Saturday morning across northeastern Oklahoma.

News On 6 meteorologist Alan Crone says Friday Night Football and Halloween festivities will be quite chilly with 7 p.m. temperatures near 43 degrees and 9 p.m. readings near 37 along with north winds of 10 mph.
