Tulsa's Chandler Park is getting a tree house, but it's not just any old tree house, this one's special.
It will be the centerpiece of the Brook and Jill Zink - Tarbel Memorial Park.
The late husband and wife were passionate advocates for the disabled, so everything in the park, including the tree house, will be wheel-chair accessible.
"Folks with special needs can take their wheelchairs and go out and actually have the tree-top experience," Tulsa County Commissioner, Karen Keith said.
The park will be just north of the Chandler Park Community Center in west Tulsa.
It will include a spirit walkway, memorial grove, meditation garden, and a sensory zone with outdoor instruments.
The Tree For All will be built with donations.
It should be finished next summer.
