Halloween is all about ghosts, goblins, zombies, witches and all kinds of scary stuff.
For an east Tulsa homeowner, Halloween equals a front yard full of frightening fun for the whole family.
Vickie Millard's yard is full of motion sensing monsters ready to give you a Halloween experience you'll not soon forget.
"Lots of my ideas come from kids. They have the best ideas in the world. They'll walk by when I'm setting up and say ‘oh you need this character or that character.' I'll look around, find the costume, I'll build the frame and hopefully the next year it'll be out in the yard,” she said.
It takes the better part of three weeks to set it up. There are solar powered lights, and many of the figures in the yard are animated.
"Old computer parts work wonders,” said Millard.
She's a web designer, so the idea of taking it apart and using the parts for a little scary fun on Halloween doesn't scare her a bit.
She said there are more than 80 figures and grotesque things in her yard display.
As complete as her yard appears to be, she said there's always room for another good idea.
The display will be up through the first weekend in November.
The house is just south of 31st Street on 89th East Avenue.
