Dense Fog Advisory In Effect For Parts Of Northeastern Oklahoma

The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory that was in effect through 10 a.m. Tuesday for Ottawa, Craig, Nowata, Washington, Rogers, Mayes and Delaware counties in Oklahoma.

The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory that was in effect through 10 a.m. Tuesday for Ottawa, Craig, Nowata, Washington, Rogers, Mayes and Delaware counties in Oklahoma.

In Arkansas, Benton, Washington, Carroll and Madison counties were affected.

Drivers were urged to go slow and use their low beams. Visibility was reduced to less than a quarter mile in some areas including Muskogee.

Fog was especially dense in valleys and other low-lying areas.

The Tulsa area saw patchy fog, but Tulsa County was not included in the advisory.
