Muskogee Police Investigate $700K Missing From Children's Clinic

Muskogee police are investigating a report of possible embezzlement of funds from the Muskogee Children's Clinic, a news release says.

An initial investigation shows that funds in excess of $700,000 were discovered missing during an inquiry by the Internal Revenue Service. It was confirmed by an independent auditor hired by the clinic, according to a report.

Police say they are are in the initial stages of the investigation and no arrests have been made.
