Sheriff: 70-year-old Roland Man Found Fatally Shot, Son Arrested

Sequoyah County Sheriff Ron Lockhart says the 40-year-old son of an elderly man was taken into custody after the father was found shot to death Monday evening.

Lockhart says Robert Just, 70, was found with multiple gunshot wounds dead in his home on Cottonwood Road near Roland. Deputies took Steven Just, who lives in the home was taken into custody on an unrelated charge. He is being held in the Sequoyah County jail.

Robert Just's body was transported to the state's Medical Examiner's Office in Tulsa for an autopsy.

Lockhart expects a murder charge to be filed against Steven Just.
