This Saturday is the 109th meeting of Texas and OU at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. The game really brings out the old school spirit, which some have year-round.
There's a house in Broken Arrow lit up with Sooner pride.
Greg Batterson met me at the front door wearing a big OU logo - I hoped to add a little balance in my best burnt orange, but he had a lot of OU around.
From the house number on the curb, to the basketball goal in the backyard there was OU everywhere you looked, even on the top of his house.
On the roof, there's a lighted OU sign – the second version. The first one was up for six years.
"The first one I put up there before the big 12 championship game in 2008,” Batterson said.
He took it down a few weeks ago because it was getting kind of weather beaten and folks didn't like it.
"Everybody I ran into....where's your OU....people were driving by screaming where's your OU," he said.
Batterson even had a couple of people knock on his front door wanting him to put it back up. So he constructed a new one and put it up the other day.
While he already put the sign up, he said he'll probably wait until Friday night to turn it on.
