Crash On I-44 In Catoosa Damages Two Cars

Three people escaped serious injury in a two car crash in Catoosa early Wednesday according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. 

Troopers said the crash happened in the westbound lanes near the exit for 193rd East Avenue at about 2:30 a.m. The OHP says a speeding car swerved to miss a car merging onto the highway, lost control and hit the car it was trying to miss. 

After hitting a center median, the car headed west rolled onto its top. 

Troopers said everyone involved in the crash refused to go to the hospital.
