Amazon Closing Coffeyville, Kansas Shipping Center

Amazon confirmed it's closing its shipping center in Coffeyville, Kansas, leaving hundreds of people without a job.

The facility will shut down by February of next year.

The company said it re-evaluated its shipping locations and is working to get them closer to more customers.

Amazon said every Coffeyville employee will have the option of transferring to another center.

The closest option is near Dallas.
